April 2008

At a recent dinner given by the Programme for Endorsement of Forestry Certification schemes (PEFC) at the House of Lords keynote speaker MP John Gummer warned that to look the other way when it comes to sustainability issues is like “letting a friend drink and drive.” The paper industry is ‘greening-up’ its act, not only developing environmentally friendly papers but constantly improving their credentials as environmentally responsible suppliers (see UpFront). And at this year’s trade shows seminars will abound on how exhibitors are improving their environmental behaviour and how you can do likewise (see previews).

If it’s not so much advice as kit, software and consumables you’re looking for an updated version of the OneStop Product Guide will go live on the OneStop website (www.onestopmag.co.uk) in early April.
